Nutella Danish

Our favorite Bakery/ Breakfast Restaurant in Manhattan serves these amazing baked goodies. From Muffins to croissants, cakes to cupcakes, pies to sandwiches and of course Danish. Pineapple, cranberry and Nutella.

Now, if you are a chocolate lover, you will love the hazelnut chocolate spread Nutella. I am not running an advt for Nutella. In spite of all the words I hear about the high sugar, I still do not like using any other chocolate spread besides Nutella, when I need to. One thing I did do is get my little one off it. My little one could just never have enough of Nutella Sandwiches and with time, I felt using Nutella once in a while was fine, but feeding it daily to kids wasn’t a very good idea.

These Danish were shaped like a heart, following the demands of my boys. These Danish are crunchy from the outside and sweet chocolaty from the inside. This yummy crunchies are easy to make and super easy to please. They are a super good addition to surprise breakfast or play dates and even for guests, who fail to inform before ringing the door bell. The Nutella can easily be substituted for a fruit based spread. If you need more details, Please feel free to ask.

Choco Almond Shake Cone

These amazingly delicious sweet shots might look difficult to make but honestly, they are super easy and a complete delight to make.

I made them for a group of kids who were looking forward to something exciting and new. The cones are store bought and dipped in melted chocolate and rolled in crushed Almonds. Inside is ice cream milk shake that I made in chocolate flavor, but it can be easily switched to any other flavor as well.  I cut the Ferrero Rocher in to half. I think it goes well with all ice cream flavors.

Its an excellent sweet dish for small party, kids party or a small get together.  Please follow the ice cream recipe that I have posted. These little heavenly cones will surely be praised and loved by you and your guests.

Choco Oreo Icecream Cake

For most Chocolate lovers, chocolate Ice cream and chocolate cake are one of the world’s most favorite flavors. A mix of oreos in that batch and the taste becomes heavenly.

Chocolate cake, without any kind of icing is our family favorite. Its simple to make, easily baked and rapidly vanishes. And the one day, my boys wanted something more exciting and and wanted to try making an Ice cream cake, which we normally buy from our favorite Ice cream store.  My kids are just like me, if I crack the recipe of one dish, I have to try harder and crack another one. They like me to experiment with new things and then they try to mix and match. So, once I mastered the perfect ice cream recipe, they wanted to try the ice cream cake.

We mixed in a few crushed Oreos to enhance the taste and make it more kid friendly, since it was an idea from my boys. The recipe is very easy. The cake recipe and Ice cream recipes are a part of my recipes too and you can find them on this site as well.
