  1. Wash, chop and dry the green beans.
  2. Add Oil to a pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Once they crackle, add asafoetida and curry leaves.
  3. Add green beans and saute for a 7-10 minutes.
  4. Add Onions and saute for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of water, turmeric powder and salt. Let it cook on low to medium heat and cook till the water dries up.
  6. Add the dry coconut powder and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with hot phulkas or poori.
