  1. In plain flour, add baking soda. Mix very well ,add khoya , rose water & cardamom powder mix very well.
  2. Add milk in to mixture, little at a time to make a dough, like a paratha dough. Rub it for 5 minutes. Cover in muslin cloth for 5 minutes.
  3. Make balls of any size.
  4. In a pan add ghee/Oil to fry gulab jamun balls on a medium flame, fry until they are golden brown, keep them a side.
  5. In another pan, add sugar and water. Let it boil. Add saffron and food color. Boil it at medium heat until sugar is dissolved completely. Don’t put balls straight away in hot sugar syrup. Let sugar syrup reaches at room temperature, add gulab jamun balls.
  6. Store in a refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve garnished with silver leaf and almonds n pistachio.
