  1. Turn the oven on 350F. Mix in Cake Flour, Baking Powder, cocoa powder, salt, granulated sugar and coffee powder.
  2. Also add in the roasted almonds and 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Mix well.
  3. Add in the eggs, Milk, vanilla essence and butter and mix well to form a cake batter. Add to a cake pan and bake for 40 minutes. Insert a knife in the center to ensure the cake is cooked. If the knife comes out clean, the cake is cooked, if not, leave it in for another 10 minutes.
  4. While the cake is cooling down, melt the chocolate chips with shortening in a double boiler or in the microwave for a minute. Once the chocolate chip melt, whisk it well and add the heavy cream. Mix well. Pour it on the cake.
  5. Sprinkle some confectioners sugar on top. Feel free to decorate with some sprinkles or candies making it more festive. Enjoy!!!
