Ingredients
1
cup
Whole wheat flour
1
cup
Ghee
1/2
tsp
cardamom powder
1/2
cup
Jaggery
Gudd
2
cups
Water
2
tbsp
Almonds + Pistachios
chopped. To Garnish
Instructions
Heat and melt Ghee in a pan.
Add whole wheat flour.
Add Cardamom Powder.
Fry on medium heat until slightly browned, around 7-8 minutes. Keep stirring continuously.
Heat 2 cups of water and add the Jaggery to it. Let boil and let the Jaggery melt.
Once the Flour is completely roasted, add the Jaggery water to it.
Keep stirring and blend everything well on low to medium heat.
The Halwa will keep getting thicker as you cook, so at any point if you feel that you are okay with the consistency, then stop cooking further.
Garnish with chopped nuts.
Serve Hot or warm and Enjoy!!!
