  1. Add Ghee to a pan
  2. Add the grated carrots and cook for 7-10 minutes on low to medium flame.
  3. Heat milk in a separate pan and add it to the carrots.
  4. Keep cooking till the milk is only one quarter of the original quantity left.
  5. Add the grated khoya and mix for 5 minutes.
  6. Add sugar and mix well.
  7. Add cardamom powder and cook till the liquid in the Halwa is all dry.
  8. Garnish with chopped Almonds and Pistachios. Serve warm.
